Euro Controls supply CAREL heaterSteam humidifiers to Balfour Beatty
Euro Controls UK Ltd has been supplying the HVAC industry for over 25 years. Euro Controls UK Ltd are well known in the industry to distribute CAREL humidifiers and controls, and to delivery high quality technical support to the end user.

After studying the technical documentation and tender report for the humidification project, Euro Controls UK Ltd confirmed that it met the Hoare Lea specification and were in a strong position to tender for the tender.
The key factors that would determine the outcome of the tender were as follows:
Reducing the level of drain down function of the water, to use less water during the draining down period. They were minimised due to the purity of the water meaning it would not necessary to drain so often. This would also reduce the energy in producing more demineralised water, as less water is being used on the drain cycles.
The proposal was to use CAREL heaterSteam. The advantage of using heaterSteam is that the units can be run at 80⁰C hot stand-by, meaning shorter times to produce the required duty, meaning less energy expenditure and greater control.
Stainless steel cylinders for reducing wear and tear, and to reduce the maintenance costs.
The control strategy was to be 0-10V control signal back to a BMS - which means they have total control over the humidifier at any one time, and are able to visually check for alarms, maintenance, and duty.
Balfour Beatty were also looking for a humidifier with reliability and cost effective spares, which the UR has. The heaterSteam has very high levels of reliability, and low cost spares, meaning the humidifier specified fits the bill exactly.

We comply to Balfour Beatty's new eVAL performance measurement. Balfour Beatty's new supply chain database eVAL has now been configured such that it is able to give consistent and timely performance feedback on the performance of their supply chain which they can review during joint business reviews. This data allows them to monitor performance against key measures such as health and safety, on-site performance, delivery and pre-tender/design support. It is also allows Balfour Beatty to ensure they support those companies who perform better than others against these measures.
The units used by Balfour Beatty on this particular project were the 6kg/h, 10kg/h and 20kg/h humidifiers.
Euro Controls UK Ltd also supplied Balfour Beatty the HygroMatik steam injection humidifiers, as they wanted to buy the humidifiers as a package and use one preferred supplier.
